Snowflake Drive tags will be available in the lobby tonight and tomorrow during conferences! If you take one from our DES Giving Trees, please return the item wrapped and with the tag attached! Thank you to everyone who also already requested a tag/item!

Last week for World Kindness Day DES students made a kindness mural!
Students were able to participate by sharing ways they show kindness to others on paper handprints! Be sure to check it out when you're here for parent/teacher conferences!

READ TO A DOG?!?? That's right! Sign your child up to participate in the "Reading to Bryce" program. Bryce is a grand champion whippet that his owner and handler Jean brings to the Douglas Library the third Wednesday of each month from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. Participants sign up for a 15 minute block and read Bryce a book of their choice, and there's even been improvement in some students' reading. If you feel this program may be beneficial to your child's reading, then reach out to the library here: Simon Fairfield Public Library @ 508-476-2695.
