Last week for World Kindness Day DES students made a kindness mural!
Students were able to participate by sharing ways they show kindness to others on paper handprints! Be sure to check it out when you're here for parent/teacher conferences!

This is the last week to help our DHS Seniors with their senior project of supporting Webster Animal Control. Donations of pet food and toys, and clean blankets will all be greatly appreciated and can be left in the box next to the DES Nurse's office. C'mon DES, let's help these students "ace" this challenge of helping animals!

READ TO A DOG?!?? That's right! Sign your child up to participate in the "Reading to Bryce" program. Bryce is a grand champion whippet that his owner and handler Jean brings to the Douglas Library the third Wednesday of each month from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. Participants sign up for a 15 minute block and read Bryce a book of their choice, and there's even been improvement in some students' reading. If you feel this program may be beneficial to your child's reading, then reach out to the library here: Simon Fairfield Public Library @ 508-476-2695.
